Oh, also; If Luz had/gets her own palisman, what do you think it would be?
Theories I've seen include snake, bat, a hybrid of the two, otter and spider.
I'll be honest, I've been thinking this one over for a bit, but I've got nothing??? It's mostly that I don't have any frame of references for what kind of animal Luz would like or feel a connection to the most - she's used spiders and snakes as props before, but that on its own doesn't say much. And despite being surrounded by owls, I don't think that she'd want to follow the exact same theme as Eda, either. It's... really hard to say!
I will mention that the first thought that comes to mind is that Luz would probably be instinctively inclined to go for a cool, anime-esque design for her Palisman, and that I think either she already has a clear idea in mind or that she's going to be incredibly indecisive when the time comes and there's no in between. There are a lot of different ways this could go, especially since getting a Palisman feels as though it's most likely a rite of passage for a witch, and we've seen how Luz deals with those before.
To be honest, a hybrid of some sort doesn't seem out of the question, given Luz's own hybrid approach to studying magic! I think it would be pretty fitting, though I can't say I have any strong opinions about which animals I think she'd prefer... it feels as though it could be anything.
The question of whether or not Luz is going to get a Palisman at all is pretty interesting too: it's unclear how they're brought to life, and if it might require a witch's internal magic that would make things a bit difficult for Luz, but at the same time Eda did promise Luz that she'd get a staff someday, and from what I've seen Palismen appear to be an integral part of a witch's staff, so she kind of has to get one eventually, I feel.
I haven't really given a conclusive answer to your question, but I'm not sure if I have one at the moment. I'll add on to this if I think of something!
