Will Rogers of the NOW Generation
"Members of the Now Generation eschew the matched luggage, carefully selected wardrobes and other impediments of the classic Grand Tour knapsacks and sleeping bags have replaced Vuitton luggage, train schedules and hotel reservations booked months in advance. Apparently the only real essentials for travel on the Continent this year are a winning smile, a ready thumb and, for the male traveler, a guitar." From an article on American Youth in Europe. Holiday Magazine. June 1970.

Not the future generation anymore.
I am sick and tired of being called the future generation. We are the generation of now. We are consumers, we have a role in society. We have opinions, ideas, talents, and we're wasting it. All this waiting for the future puts our talents and opinions to waste. If we wait, what's to say that our voices will actually do something in the future. We need to do something now, not in the future. Our actions now will create consequences in the future, both good and bad. If we wait for the future, we'll just push it on the next generation, and then that accomplishes nothing. We need to take charge of our future, by being the generation of now.

But back in 1902, a book was dedicated “to the young disciples of Soul Cultrue who made ‘Now’ Folk possible.” From Not Hypnotism But Suggestion by Henry Harrison Brown.
