A visit to Modern Times in Point Loma, San Diego. On the left, a growler pour of Nova Swing IPA (a 3 of 4), and on the right, a taster of Neverwhere Brett IPA (a 3 of 4). Got the growler of Nova Swing blind, and glad I did - it’s a light, pungent IPA that’s really easy drinking. Lots of resin and some citrus pith, and a pretty strong amount of body bitterness. Neverwhere has a great brett presence going on and some lighter citrus notes and some tropical fruit. Really nice yeast presence in this, and some floral notes as it warms. Nice stuff.
