Nova wasn't born in Chakabrak, but far away: she was born on Earth, the daughter of Kenji and Hana. Her father, Kenji, wasn't an inhabitant of that world, but a brave space explorer originally from Chakabrak, who traveled the universe discovering new places and learning from them. On one of his journeys, he met Hana, a human woman from Earth (who was originally from Japan), and fell deeply in love with her. Together they built a life there, and soon after, they had Nova, and she wasn't just any child... she was very special, carrying in her blood the blend of both worlds.

But the happiness was short-lived. Just days after her birth, Hana became seriously ill. Doctors diagnosed her with a rare and incurable disease, and she passed away soon after, leaving Kenji alone with little Nova in his arms, heartbroken and unsure of what to do. With no other option, and fearing that humans would harm and exploit his daughter's powers because she was half-rabbit, Kenji made a difficult but necessary decision for his dauther's future: he had to take Nova back home to his native planet, Chakabrak. There she would be safe, growing up surrounded by her own people and experiencing the magical world from which he came.

Upon arriving, Kenji went straight to his grandparents Burf and Weezy's house and decided they would stay there for a while. From that moment on, Kenji and his grandparents would be responsible for raising, caring for, and protecting the little girl. At first, the entire planet was astonished: they had never before seen a being of two different species. She was the first hybrid in the entire history of Chakabrak. But within the walls of her home, she received all the love of her family. Her father promised her that one day, he would teach her all the secrets of the universe and the wonders of their planet. Her great-grandparents, with great tenderness and patience, taught her the customs, family stories, and how the magic of Chakabrak worked. Together, they gave her a warm and safe home.

But fate had other plans. When Nova was just a few months old, Kenji had to leave on a very important and dangerous mission. He knew leaving his daugther would be very hard, but he trusted completely that his grandparents would take care of her. He promised his daughter he would return soon… but he never did. Since that day, no one has heard from him.

Since then, Burf and Weezy continued raising their great-granddaughter, fulfilling the promise they made to their grandson. But for most of the inhabitants of Chakabrak, Nova was something unknown, and sometimes the unknown is frightening. The other rabbits feared that Nova could bring trouble or imbalance to their kingdom. Many thought her powers could be dangerous, and they saw her not as one of them, but as a threat. Sometimes, Nova didn't understand why she was treated this way. In her heart, she felt that Chakabrak was her home, and that she belonged there. Unlike her family, Nova was born with a free spirit, very curious and adventurous. She always longed to go somewhere else, to discover new places, to venture into the deepest and darkest corners, and to wonder what lay beyond the horizon.

These dreams have led her to have the most important goal of all: to find her father. She feels deep inside that he is still alive, lost somewhere in the universe, waiting to be found. Even though she is small, she tries to practice and better understand her powers, because she knows that one day she will grow up, learn to master all her magic, and be able to go out and look for him, wherever he may be.
