I've heard people say that "Oh, your life might seem boring, but in your story, you're the main character!" Well I think that my best friend is the main character in my story as well as hers. Everything (good or bad) happens to her. She has the tragic backstory, the boy drama (including the crush that swept her off her feet and asked her to the school dance), and the sarcastic, nerdy best friend. But if that's what I am, that sarcastic, nerdy best friend who kicks people's asses and stands up for her no matter what, then I'm okay with that. I'm ok with giving her the spotlight and making sure she's okay no matter what. I'm totally fine with making sure she gets everything she deserves and more because she's my best friend and that's my job
