My boss sent me the resumes of everyone applying for the position to basically be another me. Great, fantastic.

But why are there so many grammatical and spelling errors on people's resumes?? Why is there no consistent formatting happening?? I have like 100 resumes, and I would say about half are not appropriate based on their experience (over experienced for what I do/need), and the other half is just the worst looking resumes you've ever seen in your life.

My job relies heavily on attention to detail, and I am a nitpicky asshole who likes things done the way they've been done for almost a decade. If you can't even make sure the spelling is correct on your resume, how am I sure you're going to pay attention to the details on the job??

and it's not that she didn't know, I think I also needed to have her hear it from me how bad things have gotten and how stressed I have been.

dude, a small increase is HALF of that.

and what really gets me is how much she talks about supposedly wanting to learn what I do. but then she doesn't ask questions, she just assumes how something is done, and never pulls up examples to refer back to. and her constant excuse is "I couldn't find one" for work order types that I do literally every. single. day. even over the holiday, when I was on PTO, she did a work order where the example was literally on the same map she was working on, and she still did it wrong.

not to mention how she basically threw a fit with the supervisors over one of the field guys backup because she was confused despite the employee providing ALL the information he was required to. I told her she needed to focus her energy elsewhere because the employee did what he was supposed to, if she didn't know how to read the backup, then she needs to ask questions or focus that energy on work order backup that is actually unreadable and unusable (which, of course, she had ignored).
