smelting tomorrow... stay tuned
SO! I did a bit of smelting and casting yesterday (as seen above...).  Not perfect, but I wasn’t expecting it to work first try.  I did have to remake the green sand box bc it wasn’t packed tight enough and just fell apart when I picked it up (small box better?).  Pawns turned out okay-ish, but got sand in one side (hence the rough side).
Thoughts: -make a much smaller box for smaller castings -need to remake the refractory coating of the furnace     (?upgrade to propane burner?) -find more aluminum to make into muffin ingots -buy fine grit sand so the casting isn’t so fucked up on one side yee
I’m excited to start smelting again...
Me: *sets my alarm early so I can get up and finish my homework*
Me:*wakes up to alarm, promptly falls back to sleep and dreams that I did my homework*
