MAN OF THE HOUSE (not ordered to series)
About a teenage star quarterback, Bradley, who finds himself unexpectedly the only male in a house full of females when his recently-divorced mother moves in with her recently-divorced sister and their daughters. While Bradley oscillates between the hyper-male world of high school football and the hyper-female world at home, this group of women is going to teach him how to be a better man, whether he likes it or not.
Cast (thus far)
Alyson Hannigan (How I Met Your Mother) as Jessie, a caring social worker who was shocked when her husband left her. With nowhere else to turn, and against her better judgment, she moves her teenage football-star son and preteen daughter into the home of her narcissistic, ball-busting sister Charli and her even more wicked daughter. (Mar 1- this project had a cast-contingent pilot order, and Hanniganâs casting lifts the contingency)
Leslie Bibb (GCB) as Charli, a beautiful, narcissistic, possibly sociopathic man-eater who wakes up every morning looking for a fight because itâs the only thing that makes her feel alive. Despite her toughness and bravado, Charliâs surprisingly vulnerable underneath. She didnât get the courage to leave her cheating husband until she saw her sister, Jessie, going through her own divorce. Even though Charli has dominated her sister their entire life, Jessie is actually her rock. (Mar 12)
Jake Short (Mighty Med) as teen football star Bradley. (Apr 30)
Jenna Ortega (Stuck in the Middle) as Elena, Charliâs fifteen-year-old daughter, a beautiful and mean-spirited only child, who doesnât adjust well to living with her cousins. (Mar 30)
Reece Caddell (Fresh off the Boat) as preteen Blair. (Apr 30)
Jimmy Kimmel (Jimmy Kimmel Live) as the grown-up version of Bradley. He will provide the voice-over/narration, in the point of view of Bradley looking back fondly at the women who made him the man he is today. (Apr 30)
