Compassion begins with recognizing nonhuman animals as unique individuals and not as food commodities.
Stop making other living beings, like Panda Bob, innocent and needless victims of your food, clothing, and cosmetic choices. P Bob’s life means so much more to him than any of these could mean to us.
This hen received for the first time the medical care she deserves following our Turlock rescue in 2012, during which we rescued 4,460 hens left to starve to death at an abandoned battery cage egg farm. In just over 2 weeks from now, we’ll be liberating 2,000 hens from battery cages, each of whom will need immense care and attention before moving into their adopters’ forever homes.
Society has conditioned us to be selective with our love. Instead, extend love to all animals, no longer letting species arbitrarily dictate your treatment of them.
