End of February Thoughts & Reflections

A lot has happened just within this month. Some relationships were broken, some were damaged, some were born, and some remain unchanged. I feel like there isn’t really a “safe” place for me to express things out other than here. Some of you might know me, some of you might not, but I don’t do this often. Only at times when I really want to type it out and get it out of my head. I asked a question to my best friends, S&FN.
“How is it that you hear a lot of things about a certain someone from just one person, but you are just not sure about whether it is true or not. Or is it just me?”
FN: “ I think it’s your own experience with that person that matters. But also keep an open mind. Trust your guts.”
S: Yet to reply, but its okay.
FN does have a point, and it was a reminder of what I too believe in, what I live by. To not judge a book by its cover. Everyone has their own stories to tell, it is your duty to find out what they are before you believe someone wholeheartedly, and end up hurting the other party, be it intentionally or unintentionally. And I guess sometimes, we learn things the hard way. So let this be a learning lesson, and move on.
