“Fine. Do you like me Jenny?”

She looks down at her feet in sheer embarrassment. It might have been the three vodkas, or two whiskeys, but with a slight grin she lifted her head and replied.

“When somebody makes me feel so warm, so safe, so comfortable, so happy to be around them all the time, I cannot help but fall for them.”

He seemed confused. Somewhat pleased but nonetheless confused. She pressed his hand between her two hands and continued.

“But over the years I have learnt to control my feelings. I feel what I want to feel. Because what is the point of falling for someone, who does not love you back?”.

With his warm fingers slipping through her hair, he rest his palm onto her neck and pulled her face close to his.

“How is it possible for a man not to love you back?”

His lips pressed firmly onto hers and a teardrop glided down her cheek.
