Jim only got hit by a couple of Bones’ flailing limbs, one to the solar plexus and the other to his left shoulder, but fortunately, Bones was a rotten aim when he was dead asleep. He cackled quietly to himself as Bones fell off the bed, crawling off the bed himself as he got in Bones’ face. “It’s vacation time, Bones,” he crooned, his eyes sparkling with glee. They had some downtime planned while the ship was docked portside for some repairs, and Jim was not about to waste it sleeping.
“C’mon, I already packed your bags like twelve hours ago while you were sleeping, and it’s time to go! The shuttle leaves in like thirty minutes and, no offense, Bones, but you still kinda smell like the Medbay, which is super attractive, but not when we’re going BEACHIN’!” he rattled off. In typical Kirk fashion, when he got hooked on something, it was all or nothing at 100 miles an hour.
