This is one of the very first bookmarks I made, and the first one I made that was even close to utilizable. I actually used this for a while. It's a piece of linepaper from a school notebook wrapped around a piece of cardboard (presumably from a toy box), with a broken LEGO HERO FACTORY weapon, originally a lightning sword of some sort. I think it was mostly broken before hand but I broke it completely to attach it. Everything is held together by a layer of PVA glue, in addition to it coating its entirety, creating a sort of glue glaze on it. I employ this "technique" in most, if not all, of the bookmarks that have seen extended service out of the ones I've made, since it makes it more water resistant, flexible, and prevents tears and creases to an extent.
