I've been trying to do more still photos with my "video" camera to see if I can make it work for both. @lumixusa G7 with a Panasonic 12-35 lens, edited on iPhone. Initially I got this rig for video work but this combo definitely shines for stills in the right conditions! #motivationmonday every time I go to the #Gunks I am tested. I walk past this boulder, and I wonder if I can still #climb it. It's not technically difficult but it's tall and if you blow one of the moves and come off, it's not one you'll walk away from. Knowing this, it's always the yardstick that I use to measure my mental game, sort of a canary in the coal mine. If I feel good on #colorfulcrack then the day is mine. If not...then I know to be moderate. I recently returned to this climb after a long time away and I expected to hesitate on the moves and be turned away. I'm not entirely sure what happened but I felt strong and happy--and I sent, after months #notclimbing. You never know when an effort will pay off, so don't pull back without trying.
