Galadir felt as though he'd been trapped in the vortex for hours, and as a matter of fact it had been and he'd lost consciousness a few times, being slammed into cave walls and squeezed through narrow passages. It was safe to say he was fairly beaten as he was spat out into unfamiliar water, the sudden loss of the pressure from the vortex around his body caused him to lose consciousness, floating slowly down to the ocean floor like a dead carcass. He had no idea where he was, but he was certainly far from his home, his pale body covered in cuts leaking blood into the warm ocean.
