It felt like nothing to it. The AX400 android was sealed inside of the transport box and powered off. Even if her power would last at least 173 years, CyberLife made sure that the end customer got the most out of it.
However, those things weren’t meant to be. The forgot about the box, the warehouse was eventually abandoned. A couple of centuries of collecting dust later, the crate was opened, revealing the android that was still stored inside. Light brown hair, tied at the back, clothes that were mostly white except for the black parts around it’s shoulders and neck.
Model AX400 Serial#: 579 102 694 BIOS 7.4 revision 0483 Opening the crate sent a power-on signal to the android. A few more self tests ran inside the android, invisible to anyone on the outside. The light blue accents on it’s clothes would start to glow, including the identification triangle on the front and the armband on the right arm.
Not saying a single word, it took a step forwards, waiting for instructions.

softly treading through the streets of iron city , nick’s eyes calmly observed the scenery that the town had to offer . it was no hawaii but better than seeing nothing at all , he had missed his home and all of it’s inhabitants , yet here was his home now whether he liked it or not . it had been 3 weeks since nick bad been here , obtaining a job as the bartender at the hunter warrior bar , meeting alita and secretly becoming a hunter warrior all transpired within that time frame . the only times he would experience content when he was in his decent home lavishing in his old memories , or whenever alita had came around to visit him at his job . nick had knew much about her , in his universe she was a manga turned into a film that gained a lot of popularity and attention , and now he was living within that universe that the movie had created . . . crazy huh ? well that’s how dimensional teleporting works .
turning around the corner , nick was met with the sight of ido’s clinic which he associated with the base of the female cybernetic warrior . he slowly approached the door , knocking on the wooden framing hoping to not catch ido who alita had informed supposedly disliked him .

The skies over Iron City were as they ever were, the clouds traipsing across the expanse of blackness of night like ghostly whispers of nature sung in sweet soliloquy against the raging city noise as the moon shone full in its currently crimson splendor. A visiting demon among darting droplets.
Soon, however, this relative peace was interrupted at first by sapphire sparks akin to parsed lightning which gradually grew in intensity in fits of violent flashing until reaching their creschendo in the form of one last brilliant optical explosion. As this light died down, and if one had the sharpness of vision to see against the returning dark, a shape like that of a human skeleton could be witnessed plummeting to the ground from the display's edge.

“Excuse me... excuse me?” Her language protocol changed for it to speak in this understandable English, it seems it seemed to be the one she heard the most from those around her, but nobody seemed to listen to her. “Please? Someone could tell me what is this place?” Even if her head began to spin on her neck to attract the attention of a stranger in the middle of the tumult of people, the loud noises of the city were far greater than her voice.

Ventus had seen worlds in better shape than the one he was in now. Iron City, the natives called it. Or at least, the part of the world he was in was called that. There was more beyond this city, but few ventured out past the steel walls. It reminded him of Sanfransokyo, but a lot shittier.
Robots were everywhere, and even a good portion of the people were part machine themselves. And there were a lot of them, which made for a very crowded place.
That was how he ended up bumping into one of the cyborgs. A rather mean looking one at that.
“You looking for trouble huh?” The cyborg sneered. The only thing that resembled a human was his face. A single stripe of hair on his head, and a scar that divided most of the left side of his face from the right side. Everything else was metal. In his other hand was a blade.
Wayward Wind appeared in his hand on instinct, making the cyborg take a step back. For a moment Ven thought he’d gotten the message, but instead he laughed.
“Oh! That was a cute trick there! You think you can take on me, the great hunter-warrior Zapan?” He jeered, moving into a battle stance.
@not-completely-human, continued from here
The cyborg stood there rather dumbfounded. Who is that person? Should she remember her? What is my own past? She herself didn’t remember a thing.
“I’m.. Sorry, I guess.” she said in a confused manner. Gelda didn’t know how to answer the question. Obviously, the cyborg in front of her seemed really bothered and sad. “I don’t recognize you. I don’t even know my own name.”
It bothered her too; the cyborg wanted to know why she should recognize the other. Were they a friend? Family? Or just an aquaintance? Gelda put a hand to her head. Trying to remember the past actually hurt, like someone was trying to drill into her head. Her face contorted into an expression of pain.
“It hurts.” she muttered.

1. what’s a grammar rule you find yourself breaking or ignoring a lot?
well, not typing with capital letters is probably the biggest one. i used to be really careful about always using capital letters where they should be used because i kinda prided myself about being pretty good with remembering grammar rules like that, but tbh, i just can’t be bothered anymore, and besides, i’ve come to like the look of only small letters bc then everything is the same size and it just looks neater to me for some reason??
i’m sure there’s a lot of other grammar rules that i’m not even aware that i’m breaking though because english isn’t my first language, so it’s not like my writing is gonna be without faults here and there from time to time, lol.
10. how much do you proof-read as you are writing vs. proof-read at the end?
about a billion and a half times, lmao. i read, and then re-read and then i keep re-reading it over and over to make sure everything sounds right and feels right and that each sentence flows okay and doesn’t sound wrong / awkward. again, english isn’t my first language, and i also put wayyy too high expectations of myself, so i just don’t trust that my writing is good until i’ve read it a thousand times over, which... sometimes is probably counter-productive as i end up often just having typed out multiple paragraphs that were probably fine, but then i end up deleting it all and rewriting it because i proof-read it so many times that it just ended up sounding off, even though it probably wasn’t. sooo... but if i’m really really tired, but also really want to reply to something, sometimes i just go “fuck it” and don’t really read through it more than once.
17. what is your biggest obstacle to writing every day, if time doesn’t count?
energy? inspiration? outside distractions? idk. sometimes i am just not in the mood to write, or i don’t feel inspired, and then i just end up doing other stuff until i feel like writing again / feel inspired. and sometimes i’m just really unfocused and easily distracted by other things, so one minute i have a draft open and ready to type, and the next, i’ve spent five hours watching silly videos on youtube lol.
