I'm actually kinda impressed with myself. I got like one half of my room done plus my bookshelf. <strike>There was one whole trash bag worth of garbage though. Gross.</strike> Now all these left is my closet and all the clothes.Â
Jeez, having such a long holiday from uni suits me quite well, but honestly heading back today for a 7 hour day of near non stop law and professional writing subjects...kinda took it out of me.. AND I have to do it all again tomorrow, but with different subjects, then 5 hours Friday... I should have eased myself back in to things a bit earlier I GUESS.
Anyway, things that happened today:
-Talked to someone about new clients at the legal clinic. Was told someone rang up today and asked if they could have an urgent appointment. Of course they asked this potential client when his first court appearance was...It’s Friday (u gotta be kiddin mate)
-Sat near a lad in a class and had a nosy at what he was looking at on his computer. The reddit page for Leg of Legends. Disgraceful. And in public too. Have you no shame dude?
-Walking from one side of the campus to the other, and somehow it started pouring down with rain for a couple of minutes. When I finally reached the building I needed to get to, it’d had stop raining and returned to the comfy temperature of 35 degrees celsius. FUCK
-Tried out the inter-campus bus back to the campus closest to my house. Was greeted with a wild ride and the driver had classic rock playing so that was quite neat?
All up, I’M TIRED AS.
So here is how the new year is going...
I have started working day shift at my job and so now I am on Saturday - Wednesday from 6 a.m. - 3 p.m. It's a much slower shift - so I have quite a bit of time on my hands. I have found the time to set up my Google Reader, and I am rather impressed with the functionality so far.
In a strange turn of events - I met a gentleman caller and while it was not expected, and really came from out of the blue - he is really doing well at keeping my interest and doing nice things for me.
So, in a recap - work and personal life and chugging along decently - next step: getting school things arranged.
