Fun fact about commenting on fic on ao3:
you don't need to announce your departure. Like if you didn't like something, then just close the tab and go about your day. It's not tumblr tags (or any social media really) where you're communicating something to your friends/followers. You are specifically sending a message directly to the author of the fic. Sure its available for public viewing, but the only person who gets a notification that you had something to say is the person who published the fic.
So leaving an entire comment just to say, "peace out, I personally hate this thing" is pretty definitively a dick move.
