One year has passed since Nostalgiqa was born.

And just like a baby, she continues to grow day by day.

Nostalgiqa loves pictures and words, especially when they’re about memories. As time goes by, here and everywhere, there's something that stands the test of time: the moments lived and experienced by the all the people that keep on feeding Nostalgiqa.

Sometimes we smile, sometimes we're sad. Sometimes we dream about love, sometimes we just love. Just like the old days, the world keeps spinning and changing everyday but joy, sadness and love will always be the same. And somehow, that's a truly soothing thought...

We'd like to finish saying the most important:

Hello everyone!

First of all, let us thank you for your support in the last few days. We've received enough praise to understand that people are in sync with our vision for the future of Nostalgiqa. That means a lot to us, and it can only further our willingness to keep following the amazing path we just started. We apologize for being a bit on the silent side lately. Far from dormant, we are definitely alive and working hard on the next update for Nostalgiqa. We launched our iPhone app a bit early in order to test the waters and really get a grasp of what is more important to our users. We're not aiming at x million users or y billion posts here. Of course, more users bring more color and diversity, but above all we're trying to build a valuable, meaningful and truly human community, where everyone can find his/her own perfect spot. We believe this can only be done step-by-step, with the help of each one of you, because instead of just one more user, you can act both as a contributor and as a curator. The tools are not there yet, but they will start coming very soon.

All of your feedback has been invaluable so far and we ask you to keep it coming, either though our support community or through our help center. Additionally, you can find us on Facebook and Twitter. We're already addressing the most common requests and working on the top priority features. Updates will be released on a regular basis, with major features integrating each one of them.

After all, we're really just starting. What we envisioned here at HumanSpot will take some time to put out, but we ask you to bear with us through these early beginnings. Sooner than later, we hope, this journey will become a truly rewarding one.

Nostalgiqa is being launched today, in a moment that can be of sadness for some, of fear for others, and at the same time of surprise and even joy to those living a good moment wherever they might be. Where are you? What are you feeling? Do you think that others should know the place you're at right now? What about moments and places from your past? Are they important to you? Why shouldn’t they be to others who might have lived similar experiences and emotions? Or to those who have always felt and lived differently?

Just capture the moment. Write it down. Take a picture. Share that fragment with the world and leave a memory. Your memory.
