A huge mistake that oily-skinned people make all of the time! When your body is producing excess amounts of oil, it is trying to regulate itself and protect the surface of your skin. Constant exfoliation will only signal your body into MAKING MORE OIL! Stop 🛑 Step away from the Clarisonic, scrub cleansers, exfoliants, acids, enzymes & AHA/BHA (alpha beta) products!!!! Gently wash with a clean washcloth one to three times a week. Insert two fingers into a damp washcloth with gentle cleanser, use GENTLE small circular motions - this provides MORE than enough exfoliation per week! Follow immediately with a light moisturizer with a formula appropriate for your skin condition. From my line “IT intelligent treatment” some patients use my Complexion Correction Serum twice daily, some use my Bright & Firm moisturizer twice daily, and some can use both. (Serum always first before moisturizer) I guide each patient, and as their skin changes for the better, so too does my directions for their home care program.
