Bruce has all the hosts recalled and goes to interview Elder Nanuq. It goes well at first, but Nanuq attacks Bruce. Luckily, Bruce has his ray gun with him and shoots Nanuq dead. Nanuq is officially retired from the park.

At Northworld headquarters, Marlene expresses her big plans for the future of Northworld. In the third photo, from left to right, Reed, Hope, Laurie, Bruce, Jeffrey, Maxwell, and Ashley (who is visiting).

The scientists study the other hosts to see what went wrong with Nanuq. However, the hosts act as they should, and eventually Bruce approves their reinsertion into the park. As Delilah leaves, Laurie finds herself feeling a bit suspicious when she views the ominous smile on Delilah’s face. But there doesn’t seem to be anything wrong with the hosts. Everything should work fine from now on...

Ukiuk heads home through the blizzard while Nukilik warms herself by the fire. Elder Nanuq confronts Maurice about his behavior. A fight ensues, first with words, and then with swords.

The new bartender, Marge, pours a drink for her friend, another newcomer named Delilah. Maurice joins them, attempting to flirt with Delilah, but he is rejected. Feeling embarrassed, Maurice yells at Delilah, but Marge defends her friend, threatening to kick Maurice out of the tavern. All three eventually leave, and Delilah finds Elder Nanuq to complain about Maurice’s behavior.

A blizzard hits the village, making it difficult to get anything done. Nobody’s happy. Maurice can’t start a fire, and others run to get indoors.

The sun shines down as Elder Nanuq inspects the newly-caught fish and Nukilik cooks some food. Theo and Maurice have a drink together at the tavern. Yuka sits inside in front of the fire, and Sakari and Ukiuk enjoy the day. Later, Sakari takes a bath, Aput falls asleep at the Village Hall, and Theo has a chat with Ukiuk.

In North Village, Yuka, Nukilik, Sakari, and Ukiuk enjoy a meal together. At the Village Hall, Elder Nanuq speaks to the villagers as a new stranger (Theo the Explorer) lurks in the background. Later, Aput tells a story by the fire. Introduction to Maurice, one of the park’s visitors, and Theo roasts some fish over the campfire.
