well, i consider trans josuke to be pretty much exactly the same as cis josuke! his body doesnât change the rest of who he is^^ iâm trans too, so i like to write about someone whoâs similar to me! i guess you could say i see myself in him, or i see who i want to be in him ^u^Â
i write about a josuke who is happy and transitioned as far as he wants to go, because i already deal with the more sad dysphoria stuff in my real life, and i just want to write for someone whoâs been through it and come out happier for his hard work to get where he needs to be.Â
and, of course, us trans guys need a little loving too! iâm happy to provide, cuz thereâs a real dearth of fics that use trans headcanons. though i think youâll notice, in my vampire au, josuke is cis -- mostly because when i started writing it, i hadnât considered making him trans. by the time i started writing trans josuke, i figured iâd keep him cis for that fic and then i guess switch it up depending on my mood for my other one-shots and stuff! the only difference between the two is really his body. everything else is the same! ^o^
