Northiam has everything expected of a village rich in history: old cottages, fine houses—even a parish-pump on the green. One of the finest properties in this quintessentially English village in East Sussex is Brickwall House, originally the home of The Frewen Family. Open to the public on certain days, it is now a college called 'Frewen College' with fine pictures and extensive gardens and is also used as a wedding venue. Another property worth visiting is Great Dixter, a Tudor house with gorgeous gardens.
