I'm never dropping this series, of course. I've loved it for 7 years now, and I don't find myself ever being original and liking something new, but honestly. The quality of the story telling of the main series is pretty much just boiling characters down to be more easily consumable (?) for kids, or SOMETHING, and at times is VERY insufferable to read through.

I literally cannot take OG series Geronimo as seriously as I can for graphic novels Geronimo or show Geronimo because he's so, SO boiled down now it's honestly insulting. He's barely the main character of his own series anymore. It's all fairly focused on other characters calling Geronimo out for something that, in his defense, is not at all common knowledge, or other times, they'll just focus on shitting on him for the sake of the plot.

Yes, I know this was relevant even for the earlier books, but it's so incredibly worse when coupled with Geronimo losing whatever backbone he may have had in place of the "bumbling idiot" side of his character. There's so many reasons as to why I held on to this series for as long as I have, and the original series is NOT even REMOTELY CLOSE in the top 10 reasons.

He also uses an... Encantation? Of sorts?... Basically he needs to say certain words to trigger his transformation.

Becoming a dragon is also described as calming to him, as said in the screenshot above. No body horror here guys, don't worry.

And basically, at the height of the conflict, Wither and Crowbar fought Geronimo, WHILE HOLDING BLOSSOM'S DAUGHTER- WINGLET -MID AIR, WHICH LIKE, HOLY SHIT DUDE THAT'S A BABY.

Also Winglet almost falls to her death, sooo....
