There is something so incredibly beautiful about how Eve doesn't call upon the name of God, but her daughter does, despite Eve also having known it from eating the fruit. She could have fled, like Lilith. But instead she stayed, she taught her children. Some sinned like Cain, others fell like Abel, some shone like Seth....but Norea rose up. She tried to board the arc so wisdom would not be kept from humanity. And when they tried to stop her, she breathed fire, same as Zoe did to the Demiurge. It was the goddess within her awakening, inherited from her mother, along with what Eve had taught her.
It reminds me of that quote from the Barbie movie.
"We mothers stand still so our daughters can look back and see how far they've come."

Character is Norea, and she belongs to Aereon!
a couple things keep bugging me about gwitch analysis today, namely, because of course, el5n and norea. I think I got a totally different read on what happened and where everyone’s head is at.
“El5n fell in love and shed his selfishness!” I mean, did he really though? Or did he find his damaged goblin nightmare girl and see her as a vehicle to a better life? not that there’s anything “wrong” with this if we’re trying to humanize this character- inserting someone into your dreams is a very, very human thing to do.
“Norea felt it too!” idk, idk, idk. Strong disagree. El5n professes what he thinks is possibly love, and Norea’s first thought is Sophie. There’s no hopefulness when she starts to reply to him; if anything, she looks resigned to a potential constellation prize. And I fully believe she entered the suit ready to die with such sincerity that Sadboy Number Five isn’t gonna be the one to pull her from that headspace. She’d like to know his name because they’re having an exchange as humans, as individuals, not because she’s ready to hitch her star to his plan. The end of hope, indeed.
And then on the flip side, there’s those who are pissed that his declaration came out seemingly nowhere. You’re right, it did come out of nowhere! As an act of desperation. As an act of attaching oneself fully to someone else without even having your own since of self.
Pull the romance from this moment, and I feel like there’s something far more profound and interesting here.
So that ep huh

lazy ass sketch but since episode 20 i couldn't stop thinking about the comparisons
I've been thinking about Nika and Norea's various "talks" over the course of the last three episodes, and specifically about the point where Norea goes "you didn't think you were going to get to go to Asticassia for free, did you?" to Nika when Nika objects to being involved in whatever it is they're planning. And, frankly, Norea is wrong here. Nika has been doing quite a lot for Dawn of Fold, the attack on Plant Quetta was largely possible thanks to her and presumably she'd been helping out in other ways over the last three years she's been at the school. But, aside from that, Nika is also in a position of incredible danger here at this school. We saw what happened when Martin reported her, in episode 15 we see what happens when Spacians figure out where Dawn of Fold is located. Nika has been in danger of being arrested, dying or worse every single day she'd been at Asticassia for the last three years.
I can't believe G Witch introduced the protagonists of a different yuri anti-capitalist Gundam show.
