Kristina laughed loudly, "I haven't even started checking yet silly girl. I was waiting for yes or no. Hang on." Walking over to Nora, she began to look closely, her mind exploring the bodies telltale signs until she found the baby itself, still so little. Just as she found the sex of the child, she could feel the babies attention on her suddenly and the shock made her lose connection. "Wow.. intuitive little girl isn't she? She knew exactly when I was looking at her." She grinned up at Nora, waiting for her reaction.
"Can you really find out about the gender?" Nora asked, putting the cupcake paper cups in the cupcake pan.
"Well.. it could be complicated but I can find out. Just a measure of letting my mind see what's going on in there." Her eyes looked down at Nora's stomach, curious as to whether the room would be pink or blue so to say.
Nora chuckled. "Of course." She passed the spoon over to Kris and took out the cupcake pan. "Would you mind going baby shopping with me tomorrow?"Nora asked. "It may help distract me."
"I like that idea darling, we can get the necessities and maybe some neutral clothes. I may be able to figure out the gender for you, but that's your choice darling. It may still be too soon." Licking the spoon, she watched Nora move around the kitchen.
