Where: Daybreak diner

It’d been about a week since Alex met up with his sisters for the first time in six years. It was still quite a lot to process but he decided that he’d take them up on their offer to meet and at least try to get to know them. The Levins and Esmeralda were the closest he had to a family, and he’d lost them, he found his birth mother and siblings and lost them too. Alex was sure the craziest thing to happen on the island would be finding Charlie and Jamie again, but the Aster’s had proven him wrong when he found them too and they wanted to know him. Admittedly, he’d moved on from feelings of resentment for being turned away, to worry that he’d lose the Levins and the Asters again. It didn’t help that he still felt a tinge of worry that Marina and Nora agreed with their mother that he was just like his birth father. That was a thought he had to continuously push out of his mind. 

But as Alex made his way into the little diner, he couldn’t remember the last time he felt so nervous about anything. He quickly spotted them in one of the red booths tucked away in the corner, and he made his way over to them. “Hi.” He breathed as he took the seat across from them both. It was painfully awkward.
