they absolutely have a Do Not Separate label in my head too but i do think i'm biased toward rumira admittedly! i think they're both really funny and are like . they're such assholes BAHSGDFHSDGF i'm a big sucker for the dynamic fanon has given them so i'm impartial to them (especially pre-canon) but i DO love all the pairings and of course polytrix is my #1

i love zoerumi when they're both DESPERATELY trying to get with mira akin to how you would approach a stray cat . i think it's so funny when they're frantically pulling out all the stops to go "NNONONONO WAIT DON'T . rumira is at its peak to me when rumi falls in love with zoey first and mira is supportive of her . However . she is so fucking sick of watching them be sappy and loserish and pathetic with each other and thinks it's ridiculous and she absolutely cannot stand them until she starts spending more time with zoey alone and Oh. Hm. Wow. Maybe There's. Maybe It Makes Sense. all while rumi has been aware this was going to happen the entire time and is giddy about it whereas zoey keeps going "babe i think she wants me to kill myself" because mira sucks at relaying genuine interest

zoemira where they're both horribly exasperated with ryu rumi is incredible. i like it when they're both conferring with each other every night going "are we just like fucking stupid or does she even have a brain" because they've been doing everything in their power to go "WE ARE IN LOVE WITH YOU RUMI. WILL YOU MARRY BOTH OF US." while rumi seems to be incapable of taking the hint. and of course the whole time rumi is Keenly aware but she's deeply terrified for one reason or another and is just generally sort of a loser about it and feels ridiculous having to come up with increasingly stupid ways of pretending like she doesn't know they're trying to Get With Her
