After chatting online for quite a while, I finally met a guy in person. We met in a bar. That’s my rule. Meet in public. You just never know, and safety first, right?
So first thing I tell this guy (I’ll call him Mark) is that I have a little social anxiety about walking into a bar alone. So I ask him to meet me at the door. Well, he doesn’t. I get there, and he’s sitting at the bar. Strike One.
I sit with him and we start talking. Just continuing the “getting to know you” part. To back up, during our chat before we met, he told me he and his wife were in the lifestyle. Then he told me she couldn’t (or just wasn’t) sexually active, so she allowed him to be in the lifestyle, but she wasn’t. Red flags started going up for me. So we sat at the bar, and I told him that in public, we can only appear to be friends. No touching me. No PDA of any sort. He proceeds to rub my back while we’re talking. Touch my thigh. Actually leaned over and kissed my cheek at one point.
I typically decide at a first meeting whether it’s going to go anywhere or not, and I knew pretty immediately that it wasn’t going to go anywhere with him. So after about an hour, I told him I needed to leave. Expressed that it was nice meeting him. So he jumps off his bar stool to walk out with me, and that’s when I knew why he didn’t meet me at the door like I asked him to do. He was probably 5′4″. Not a big deal for me, but obviously enough of an insecurity for him that he didn’t want to “open” with that. As we’re leaving the bar, he suddenly pushes me up against the wall and plants a huge kiss on me. So much for “no PDA of any sort”. Strike Two.
Once I got home, I messaged him that it was really nice meeting him, but that I did not feel a connection with him enough to be sexual with him. He proceeds to whine (like really whine) on text back to me about how his wife doesn’t give him sex, and it’s “just not fair” that I can do what I want and decide whether or not to have sex with him and he doesn’t have a say. It’s just not fair. How come HE can’t have what he needs? I told him he can; just not with me.
