Magnadramon is her mega form, Gatomon actually has two mega forms: Ophanimon and Magnamon. Toei chose to show magnadramon as her true mega form

I know this! i’m not complaining about holydramon being the canon choice (I mean look at my url), what I’m talking about is the design they used on her tail 

This is what holydramon normally looks like, a fluffy tail for a fluffy dragon

This is what trailer!hoyldramon looks like, spot the difference? 

Now let’s look at meicoomon’s tail (and whatever those things that seem to come of her neck are called, i’m not sure what they are??)

Pretty similar, huh? That’s why i’m afraid they might make tailmon evolve only because she is fused with meicoomon, as if she wasn’t strong enough to do it on her own. Now, some actually think it’s just that tailmon might still have some meicoomon’s data inside of her body, which personally wouldn’t make me as upset but i’m still bitter about the fact that hikari and tailmon can’t seem to have a moment to show their own personal growth.
