(Grogu is lowkey surpassing him on the character rating, though I don't really think r2 would mind)

however the episode does do a really great job at making the antagonists look entirely incompetent because the writers love making every other line of dialogue a joke, no matter what. the actual Big Bad of the show has like 3 lines before he loses all intrigue in one fell swoop

and like, what are you even supposed to do to stop them in the first place??? if someone is on a planet helping the protagonist win (which causes the planet to self destruct btw) then at that point its just a matter of stalling, theres no point in trying to get anybody outta there because until the game is won all of the characters are prevented from having self awareness. helping the games final boss win against the protagonist is pointless because if the protagonist can get there in the first place then they can get there again and it just becomes a matter of stalling again. how is this supposed to save anybody if its inevitable anyway, the episode literally never establishes what an actually successful mission would look like outside of "stopping the win condition" aka STALLING
