Here they were again, Chloe stood in the airport with Mesut by her side. She would have to say bye to him again. She sighed trying to act like she isn’t affected by him having to fly to different countries for games. “Babe you know I love you” Mesut stated. She smiled and nodded, she could help but worry, especially after a few of the rumours that he was cheating on her. “I know what you are thinking, I would never cheat on you, there are how many girls out there? And none of them interest me. You know why?” he said asking a question whilst taking her hand and looking into her eyes. She shrugged and looked down. He raised her head softly so she was looking him in the eyes again. He smiled and simply said, “I am not interested because they are not you, I have a girlfriend that I love and she is right here, the place I call home” he said pointing to the floor whilst saying the latter part. She blushed and smiled to him he leant down and kissed her.

--the next day—

Mesut had texted Chloe to let her know that he had arrived safe. She was sat back watching the start of the game. Her favourite part was when they interviewed Mes, hearing his voice made her smile. They started the interview and just as they were about to finish He asked if he could say something. She watched Mes turn to the camera and start talking. “Now I know what has been in the news the past few weeks, I know that you all probably think I have cheated on my girlfriend Chloe, but I haven’t I promise everyone that! I love Chloe she is the only one for me” he finished and turned back to the presenter, it went to the credits and Chloe couldn’t help the huge smile that took over her face. She took out her phone and text him saying she loves him and how happy she is with him.

--The day he gets home--

Chloe was waiting at home for Mes to walk through the front door, she has something to say and she cannot wait to say it. She sat herself down on the couch and started tapping her foot on the floor whilst humming. She heard a key in the front door and she jumped up, running to the front door she saw him come in. She ran up and hugged him and he immediately hugged back. “Woah I like this welcoming” he smiled whilst putting his bag down. She giggled and walked to the living room with him. “Mes I have something to say, I know you didn’t cheat on me, I know what we have is real, I don’t know why I ever doubted it. I also know for a fact that its you I want to be with for the rest of my life” she finished looking deeply into his eyes. She saw a smile appear on his face and she knew from then on that anytime she would be in the airport saying bye, it would be easy because she knew he was always coming home to her, it will never be a goodbye and she couldn’t be happier.
