Mayonnaise with a blindfold on! I’m not a huge fan of plain tomato ketchup (I like other variants of ketchup and most sauces though). I put mayo on most things (yes, like Max, I know XD) so there!

So this pairing is solely for Saving and a lot of it happens off screen because they’re not in Saving, but: 

1. Oliver loves expensive things. He doesn’t see the point of buying cheap wine or cheap food because the quality is inferior which is a sticking point between him and Raul. Raul can never justify spending a lot of money on something really frivolous and expensive. Shoes, however, will last a really long time, so really they’re an investment. 

2. Oliver loves to manage things but Raul has no such aspirations. He is just happy to do a job and have someone worry about things like paying wages on time etc. The fact that he gets to work on a cruise ship and use his beyblade in his act is pretty amazing, and his circus skills come in pretty handy when he tends the bar - which is where he initially meets Oliver. 

3. Whenever they’re docked, Raul loves to go out exploring and visiting the markets, which is also something Oliver really enjoys so they spend hours navigating little narrow streets, finding quiet cafes, and just soaking up the atmosphere of a new place - oh and they’re avid people watchers. Oliver likes to over exaggerate his aristocracy when talking about the ‘peasants’ which makes Raul laugh and tease him mercilessly. 

4. It really pisses Oliver off to think that someone abandoned Raul and Julia and it’s even worse to know he can’t throw money at it and fix it. And that often becomes another point of contention between them but eventually he gets that all Raul really needs in this moment is for someone to just be there and listen and maybe give him a hug. Since money can’t help the situation, he cooks these amazing meals - like comfort food so that he and Raul can just have a quiet night together. He’ll even swallow his distaste and eat in front of the TV like an uncivilised Barbarian. 

Ooh, okay @nookipuu. :D This should be fun.

1. I have a headcanon that Mystel actually doesn’t live in a village or with a tribe unlike Rei, and actually hails from a fairly big city. But he dresses the way he does to pay homage to his roots and much of his mountain hopping skills are a natural gift, which he discovered when he was out as a kid exploring maybe, I don’t know, his mother’s old village on the hills? Maybe that’s why he went to Rei’s village to revisit his roots? Which is why when he meets the rest of his team, they’re fairly surprised that he totally has a Twitter and owns a Playstation because they automatically assume because of his attire and nature that he isn’t city-bred.

2. I think Mystel is a complete ladies’ man. At first glance, he wouldn’t seem that way but I bet he’s a smooth talker.

3. Mystel totally dyes his hair. And that guy is not scared to experiment. I think sometimes he’s just like, I’ll make my hair purple. AND HE DOES IT. And he totally rocks the look. Mystel doesn’t care what others think about his unorthodox tastes.

4. He likes bubble baths. And sometimes he makes Poseidon swirl whirlpools in the tub. But he’d rather die than admit that he likes bubble baths. xD 

5. I think Mystel totally chills out with Max after the whole BEGA incident gets over. I totally think that he found Max to be pretty cool and they bond over it and hang out.

Food outtttttinggggggs now I’m hungry

1. Rei wants his own restaurant and when he finally opens it up, the guys are so there. They want to try everything they’ve learned Rei should be famous for (Kenny wants those dumplings NOMMM) and they nearly run the poor guy out of stock on their first visit. Even Kai has seconds and a couple cups of specialty tea. They all decide they’re going to endorse this place because Rei deserves it so Max puts the recommendation in to the BBA with Takao, Kai recommends it to his business partners and Kenny runs an awesome computer ad for it. Rei’s so thrilled. Not thrilled over the broken dishes (”Daichi!!!”) but ya know, thrilled.2. In the manga/anime we see them in fancy restaurants. On tournaments in the real world, those guys eat fast food. And lots of it. Rei’s favorite is Italian, surprisingly; he likes the different take on pastas. Max is in love with Menchies Frozen Yogurt as a dessert (though he gets servings too big to not be considered a meal) and KFC popcorn chicken is like crack to this kid. But he also adores McDonalds. Kai begrudgingly lets himself be dragged anywhere. He’s not a picky little freak and he can find something edible anywhere. Though, he won’t admit to liking NYC-style fries with toppings, but he does. Kenny detests McDonalds: he’s done too much research and creeped himself out but he trusts that weird fat guy from A&W for some reason. Now Takao. Takao really likes Taco Bell. When they all get home from a night of Taco Bell and Takao uses the bathroom even once, they all vow they’re NEVER going to let him go back.3. Max makes a game of choosing which American fast food they would all be. Max= Chicken nuggets.Takao= Hot dog.Rei= A crispy chicken wrap with lettuce and tomato.Kenny= A chicken burger, plain, light on the mayo.Kai= A cold milkshake. Vanilla. Daichi= Condiments, he’s too young to get his own food so he gets ketchup. but not mustard. Max wants the mustard.Hilary= Salads. Ew. 4. At Takao’s request the gang goes out to try new food at whatever weird and wonderful and new place they’re visiting. He’s the only one brave enough to try haggis in Scotland, the traditional way. Anddd he likes it. When in doubt of the food and the place’s right to be serving people, Kai, in doubt, goes with fountain soda. Fountain soda is so much better than the stuff in a can because you get your own ice and it’s a lot crisper and less sugary-tasting. Unfortunately, Rei is with Takao; he wants to try a bit of everything and then critique it.5. Hilary hates going out to eat with them. Ever been trapped in a car with 5 gassy guys and one who blames his farts on everyone else?

Well, since we’re rating on hotness purely, I think Mystel’s alright. I mean, sure, that one is a lot of fun, I’m sure, but I’m going to have to go with alright.

I have a raging soft corner for each of the Majestics boys, and although I’m not particularly attracted to men with long hair, Olivier is one pretty af dude. No really, he is.

Again, Raul is quite the looker. But I find confidence coupled with good looks to be attractive, so although I’m rating both Oliver and Raul as pretty, Oliver scores over Raul for me. And besides, the only redhead I dig on beyblade is Brooklyn. Dear lord, Brooklyn.
