Buttercup and Noodle
Noodlecup aka "Buttered Noodles"
You're a 21 year-old overworked superhero who decides that she deserves a break and hears that the most famous band in town, The Gorillaz, is playing at the nearby venue. You fly in and seat yourself in the front row as the first song begins, and that's when your eyes land on her. A beautiful, feisty, extremely talented electric guitar player rocking out on stage. Up to that point you hadn't thought much about dating or love (especially not after the disastrous relationship you had with Butch Jojo in high school), but in that moment you fall. Hard. Your gaze is transfixed on her the entire concert, and afterwards you go backstage and beg security to let you meet her. She overhears the commotion from outside her dressing room and comes out. She recognizes you as Buttercup Utonium, one of the three protectors of Townsville. With a smile and a dismissive wave to the security guard she invites you in to her dressing room.
Now don't get this wrong, ladies and gents; Noodle is a nice girl with a good head on her shoulders. Sure, she could've had a night of amazing sex with an actual superhero, kicked her out the next morning, and then sent her a gift-basket a few months later as a sort of "Thanks for the sex" compensation gift, but instead they spent the whole night talking. The two hot-headed, passionate, and talented raven-haired women instantly hit it off, and they became friends after that. They kept in constant touch while Noodle was on the road with the band, and whenever she found herself back in Townsville she and Buttercup would spend every waking moment with one another. Dating only came naturally after several months, and years later Noodle proposed. The two have since been happily married, with 31 year-old Noodle still rocking out as lead guitarist for The Gorillaz, and 30 year-old Buttercup working as an Anger Management Coach for Troubled Youth (and of course still superheroing).
