Too long, Jonathan thought anxiously, cheweing on his bottom lip, he's been in there entirely too long. The summons hadn't been unexpected, in fact, the moment he'd heard that the Auror department had begun to call people in for questoning, he'd gotten that sinking feeling in his stomach. With the way that blog was going, Jonathan had been expecting something like this for months now. Alex was risking his neck and his career with that wretched thing and while he was immensely proud of his little brother, he was also terrrified for him. There would come a point, where Jonathan wouldn't be able to protect him anymore and he was desperately hoping that this wasn't it. The sound of a door opening made him whip around, his own fingernails painfully digging into the heels of his hands. The silence was stretching on for too long and Jonathan could feel the anxiety rising again. He was sure it must be visible on his face.
