Seems a lot of Red Tornado fans haven't heard of the book-which is a shame, since it has to be the most prominent role he's had in the past decade, is very much the main character and Kathy and Traya are there too! Few scenes have been posted here. It's very Mark Russell aka the Flinstones "We've participated in a genocide Barney" comic guy, who I understand is pretty divisive (though not really in a "DESTROYED MY BABY" way, mostly just whether he works for you or not), a melancholic comedy about living in modern day. I think Russell chose Reddy precisely because as a normal guy who's sad a lot, he's a perfect Russell protagonist.
Aw awesome! I think I vaguely remember who you're talking about from second hand fandom but I never actually read that Flintstones thing. And cool! If Traya and Kathy are in it, I *have* to read it haha
