I decided I wanted to do a second of these. See the first one I did for Tun-Ei for details.
Fandom: The Elder Scrolls
Full Name: Arenmir Kelkemmesephona Stormire of Sunhold, the Last Dragonborn and Harbinger of the Companions
Gender: transneutral agender
Pronouns: they/them
Age: 25 years old (this is a BABY by Altmer standards)
Species: Altmer
Race/Ethnicity/Class: ex-Thalmor
Describe Them Physically: In Altmer form, they have yellow skin, long and expressive pointed ears, black eyes, and short red hair that they let grow loose and occasionally have Vilkas hack down to a manageable length with a knife. Their back is mangled by scars after being punished by the Thalmor for helping Ri'saad and his family escape captivity. They stand at roughtly 6'2", making them on par with Nords and Orcs in height. Broad-shouldered and muscular. Due to being a werewolf, they now look more rugged and a little older than they actually are in Altmer form.
In werewolf form, they are black-furred with dark grey in skin. They have arms too long and a mouth too humanlike to be a true wolf, to say nothing of being bipedal.
Describe How They Dress: An Amulet of Talos, always hidden in their shirt. Enchanted leather armor for combat engraved with wolf iconography. Nordic fur formalwear (they hate wearing formal clothes but will absolutely do it to spite other Thalmor).
Favorite Things: The Companions and its people (now including Krosis and Volsung). Ri'saad and the Khajiit caravans. Whiterun. Swordfighting. Being a werewolf.
Least Favorite Things: The Thalmor and the Third Aldmeri Dominion. Being stuck between a rock and a hard place for the civil war. Thieves and assassins.
Hobbies: Hunting animals and Thalmor patrols. Frost and healing magic. Smithing and enchanting gear. Talking shit. Telling stories.
Quirks: Prefers to spend most of their time in werewolf form when possible. Willing and able to talk to and befriend things and peoples dismissed as monsters.
Whatâs Up In The Romance Department (And If Theyâre Aro, Are They In A Queerplatonic Relationship): Arenmir is pansexual, even though Tamriel doesn't have that term, because gender genuinely doesn't factor into their attraction to people. They are mostly oblivious to the fact that Krosis is down bad for them.

Erandur raised an eyebrow slightly, a fond smile making its way to his lips as he turned to look at his companion. The Dragonborn was known to enjoy a pint of mead or two every time the two of them found themselves in an inn. However, it was only at the Bee and Barb that the Dragonborn ever got plastered - like they were at the moment. Erandur simply nodded. âYes, yes, of course.â
âNo Erandur, I mean it!â they emphasized, leaning closer to Erandur. âYouâŚyou get all up in your own head, thinking youâre some bad guy, just âcause you got a past. But likeâŚI got a past too. Nearly everyone Iâve met in Skyrim has got some sorta past. You can still be a good person, even if youâve had a really messed up life.â
âWell, thatâs nice of you to say,â Erandur said placatingly. He noticed a few of their fellow patrons paying attention to this conversation - he hoped that the Dragonborn didnât continue to steer the conversation down this rather treacherous pathway.
âI really donât think you understand how fucked up your life was before,â the Dragonborn said suddenly.
Keerava made a slight hissing sound at the Dragonbornâs language. Erandur gave an awkward chuckle, wrapping an arm around the Dragonbornâs.
âI think itâs time we head to bed, yes?â
âBut Iâm not tired,â they protested, though they allowed Erandur to pull them to their feet. âAnd weâre not done with this conversation yet.â
âWell, letâs at least continue it in privacy, please,â Erandur pleaded with the Dragonborn quietly.
They sighed, throwing their head back dramatically. âFine.â
The Dragonborn was relatively steady on their feet as they made their way to their room upstairs, at least until they reached the top step. They tripped, slamming down on their hands and knees.
Erandurâs eyes widened. âDragonborn? Are you alright?â he asked, when the Dragonborn didnât move from their position. He placed a hand on their shoulder, only to feel it shaking. Erandurâs concern worsened, but only for a moment, as the Dragonbornâs laughter soon became audible.
âIâm such a goof!â they lamented through their laughter, allowing Erandur to help them to their feet. âA complete goof!â
âYouâve just had a little too much to drink,â Erandur patted their shoulder, as the two headed into their shared room. âAre you sure youâre okay?â
âPositive,â they said, before pausing. âSee, this is what Iâm talking about. You always doubt that youâre a good person, yet here you are, all concerned over me simply tripping over my own feet.â
Erandur closed the door behind the two of them. âMy being kind to you does not exactly cancel out my servitude to Vaermina,â he said, lowering his voice.
The Dragonborn hummed, flopping on their bed. âAnd what, all the other good youâve done also means nothing? Being a Priest of Mara? Helping Sylgia in Shorâs Stone? Saving the people of Dawnstar?â They narrowed their eyes, leaning forward. âBesides, itâs not even like you really wanted to be a servant to Vaermina, if I remember your stories correctly,â the Dragonborn pointed out. âWerenât you quite literally a child when you were practically forced to join an abusive religious cult out of a means of survival?â
âDonât try to assuage me of guilt,â Erandur said firmly. âI could have left at any time, but I didnât. I stayed there through my childhood, through my teenage years, through my adulthood. It was only once things began to go truly bad that I made my escape.â
âIf anything, that just shows how strong of a person you are,â the Dragonborn said. âYou went through a lifetime of indoctrination, and were still able to break free. Do you realize how hard that is for some people to do? Yet you made the choice to turn away from Vaermina, to turn towards Mara. You did that.â
Erandur hesitated. âDragonbornâŚâ
The Dragonborn waved away Erandurâs attempted protest. âIâm as stubborn as an ox, Erandur. We could talk in circles about this all evening, but thereâs nothing you could say that could make me see you as less than the great man you are.â They crossed their arms. Erandur gave them an exasperated look.
âIâm not trying to fight you on this,â Erandur said patiently. âI justâŚsimply have a different perspective on my own life than you have.â
âYeah, and that perspective sucks,â the Dragonborn frowned. âYou think of yourself as some irredeemable monster.â
âThatâs a little extremeâŚâ
âHow would you describe yourself, then, hm?â The Dragonborn raised their eyebrows.
Erandur sighed heavily, looking around the small room they shared. âOh, I donât knowâŚâ He looked at the Dragonborn, then looked away. âI suppose âirredeemable monsterâ isnât too far off.â
The Dragonborn was quiet for a moment. When Erandur chanced a glance at them, they looked deeply upset. âErandurâŚâ
Erandur swallowed hard, looking away from them again. Oh, how he hated himself for making his dear friend make such an expression. âIâm sorry, I didnât mean to upset you. I was justâŚbeing honestâŚâ He was once again reminded why he always resorted to lying.
âIâŚappreciate your honesty, I doâŚâ the Dragonborn said, and their voice sounded genuine. âI justâŚhate that you think such horrible things about yourself.â
The Dragonborn must have gotten up off their bed at some point, for they suddenly grabbed Erandurâs hand, squeezing it gently. Erandur hesitated, looking down at their clasped hands, before looking up at the Dragonborn. Their other hand cupped his cheek, before they leaned forward, kissing him.
Erandur froze, his heart racing faster than it ever had. Then, slowly, he allowed his eyes to flutter shut, as he kissed the Dragonborn back.
The kiss was short, sweet, the Dragonborn pulling back after a couple of moments. They continued to hold onto Erandur, though, gazing down at him with a deep tenderness in their eyes. âYou mean the world to me, Erandur.â
âOh?â was all Erandur could manage to respond.
âIâŚjust thought you should know thatâŚâ The Dragonborn briefly butted their forehead up against Erandurâs, before pulling back completely. They once again went over to flop on their bed. âI think Iâm gonna try and get some restâŚâ
âThatâsâŚprobably a good idea,â Erandur said softly. He went over to his own bed, settling into it, though he knew he would likely not be able to sleep for hours.
âGoodnight, Erandur,â the Dragonborn called out.
Erandur smiled softly, touching his lips. They still felt warm from the Dragonbornâs lips. âGoodnight, DragonbornâŚâ

Fandom: The Elder Scrolls
Full Name: Ranwe Dike Septim, Demiprince of Madness and Knight of Order
Gender: nonbinary
Pronouns: ord/order (preferred), she/her (not attached to it, does not identify with it, but doesn't care if people use it because they can't wrap their heads around ord/order)
subjective: ord or she
objective: order or her
possessive determiner: order or her
possessive pronoun: orders or hers
reflexive: orderself or herself
type of person: individual
Age: chronologically 200, but due to growing up in a weird part of Oblivion, physically and mentally 23/24
Species: half-Altmer, half-Imperial, Demiprince
Race/Ethnicity/Class: Demiprince of Madness, Summerset Isles and Nibenay Region heritage
Describe Them Physically: Ranwe has light golden skin that's slightly more Altmer gold than Imperial tan. Ord has golden eyes with round pupils, unlike Sheogorath's slitted gold, and wavy brown hair that ord keeps chopped just shy of shoulder length. Ord stands at 4'10" and is not still growing, much to order dismay. Order round face has freckles across order cheeks and the bridge of order nose. Ord has pointed elf ears, but they are a bit more rounded than Altmer ears usually are.
Describe How They Dress: Ranwe prefers full plate armor, regardless of whether it's made of steel, bonemold (a new favorite), dwarven metal, silver, or ebony. Ord also carries a backpack full of alchemical reagents and supplies. When forced to wear something other than armor, ord prefers a lot of loose robe-like layers and brighter whites, greys, and blues. Ord has also taken to wearing war paint in slash marks over order eyes, typically in darker reds.
Favorite Things: Order as a concept, Jyggalag (adopted dad), Dyus (teacher/mentor), and the Knights and Priests of Order. Enchanting, alchemy, and smithing. Warming up to Sheogorath (biological parent) and Akatosh (technically biological father because of the Martin thing). Being left more or less unsupervised in Skyrim.
Least Favorite Things: Bandits. Capitalism. Erikur specifically. Daedric Princes who are not order parents, especially Mehrunes Dagon specifically.
Hobbies: Enchanting, alchemy, smithing. Hunting down bandits. Psychologically torturing Erikur. Wrecking the economy. Trading for or gathering supplies.
Quirks: Has OCD, does not realize it. Lactose intolerance from the Septim bloodline. Generally leans more into order parent's influence when in Solitude or other places where Their influence is strongest, otherwise makes active efforts to follow order adopted father's example.
Whatâs Up In The Romance Department (And If Theyâre Aro, Are They In A Queerplatonic Relationship): Ranwe has not gotten that far and, to be frank, probably won't. At best, ord will figure out the friendship and companionship stuff, but for the near future, that's gonna be about it.
Erandur jolted awake, his body immediately jerking upright into a sitting position, his back ramrod straight. He brought a shaky gray hand up to his chest, thin fingers pressing into the fabric of his robes, as he tried to calm his racing heart. He was drenched in sweat, his breaths coming fast, panicked. His nails dug into the flesh of his chest, until miniscule droplets of blood formed, the pain helping to ease him back to reality. It took several minutes for his vision to rid itself of the familiar purple haze that permeated his dreams every nightâŚand even then, he still felt quite off.
Erandur slowly lowered his hand from his chest, instead digging his fingers into the cool, damp ground beneath him. He inhaled deeply, smelling the embers of the fire that was trying to die, that sat between him and his companion.Â
His companion⌠Erandur looked at the Dragonborn, studied their face in the darkness, his eyes tracing over their sleeping expression. He couldnât even find it in himself to be annoyed that they had fallen asleep when they were supposed to be on lookout duty - seeing them resting peacefully genuinely brought some amount of calmness to his own heart.
Part of him felt he deserved the nightmaresâŚthat this torture was merely what he deserved, after years of service to Vaermina.Â
Perhaps sensing Erandurâs eyes on them, the Dragonborn shifted in their sleep, before suddenly waking up. They looked around in a panic, before focusing on Erandur. âErandurâŚIâm so sorry, I didnât mean to fall asleep! Iâve been reading Herbane's Bestiary, and itâs been so riveting that I thought itâd keep me awake, butâŚas we can see, it did notâŚâ
âItâs alright, really,â Erandur reassured the Dragonborn.Â
The Dragonborn still seemed upset at themselves, their expression perturbed. However, their expression changed to one of concern, as they focused their gaze closely on Erandur.Â
âWhy werenât you sleeping?â they asked, eyes narrowing slightly.
Erandur hesitated for a moment to respond.
âDonât you dare be thinking up a lie, Erandur,â the Dragonborn warned, even going as far as to waggle their finger at him. .
Erandur sighed. They knew him too well. âAlright, alright. I hadâŚa nightmare.â
âA nightmare?â the Dragonborn asked, seemingly surprised. But then, it seemed to hit them just how significant nightmares could be to the dark elf. Their eyes immediately widened. âOh. A nightmareâŚâ
âYeahâŚâ Erandur said softly.
They hesitated a moment, nibbling on their lip. Then, they stood, walking around the fire to come sit close to Erandur.Â
âDo youâŚwant to talk about itâŚ?â they asked, nudging their knee against Erandurâs.Â
âIâd rather not,â Erandur said honestly, though it perhaps came out a little colder than he would have liked.
The Dragonborn raised their hands defensively. âThatâs fine, itâs your business.â
âItâs justâŚtheyâre memories. And not good ones,â Erandur explained. âMy theory is that itâs some sort of lingering effect of my time under Vaermina.â
âThat could beâŚâ the Dragonborn nodded. âOr it could just beâŚyou know, your brain trying to process those bad memories.â
âBah,â Erandur muttered, âRegardless of what the reason is, these nightmares are making it difficult for me to get a good nightâs sleep.â
âIs that why youâve been so distracted lately?â the Dragonborn asked. âI knew you seemed tired, more tired than usual, butâŚâ They trailed off.Â
Erandur shrugged. âItâs fine. Iâll live. Itâs not like it can be helped any.â
âMaybe notâŚâ the Dragonborn mumbled. âOr maybeâŚâ
âHm?â Erandur gave the Dragonborn a curious look, but was even more confused to find them slightly flushed.Â
âI have an ideaâŚitâs kind of silly, butâŚâ
âIâm willing to try anything once,â Erandur said, and for some reason, that made the Dragonborn blush deeper.
âWellâŚokay. Lay down.â
Erandur paused, before doing as the Dragonborn asked, readjusting his position on the ground. âOkayâŚâ
âNow roll on your side.â
Erandur did as asked, rolling so his back was to the Dragonborn. He waited for further instructions, but all he could hear was the Dragonborn shifting around a bit.
Suddenly, an armor-clad chest pressed itself against his back and a heavy arm draped over his midsection. Erandur jumped, half-turning around, only to come nose-to-nose with the Dragonborn.
âWhat are you doing?â Erandur asked, red eyes wide.
The Dragonbornâs equally wide eyes darted around self-consciously. âJustâŚjust lay down, okay? I promise, IâmâŚjust going to lay here with you. Thatâs it.â
Erandur blinked slowly. They were talking so close⌠âWâŚwhyâŚ?â
The Dragonborn sighed heavily. âIâve justâŚheard some things.â
âLike?â
âLikeâŚhowâŚsleeping beside someone can help you get a better nightâs sleepâŚ?â the Dragonborn sounded unsure of themselves, yet unwavering in their resolve.Â
Erandur decided to give in. After all, he had said heâd try anything once. And who knew, maybe somehow, the Dragonbornâs crazy idea would work. âFine.â
Erandur once again laid down, and the Dragonborn laid down with them. It took a little adjusting, especially considering the Dragonborn was in a full set of armor, but eventually both felt rather comfortable in their positions. An indescribable feeling slowly seemed to overcome Erandur, as they laid there, a feeling he was quite unfamiliar with. Eventually, he was able to put a name to that feeling.
Safe. He felt safe.
Erandur was also struck by the thought that it wasnât because the Dragonborn was the Dragonborn, that he felt safe. He felt safe because they were themselves.Â
These thoughts, they scared Erandur, because they meant something important, he was quite sure. What that important meaning wasâŚhe was yet unsure. As with most things he did not want to think about or deal with, he firmly pressed those thoughts into the back of his mind. Instead, he focused on the Dragonbornâs steady breathing, the feeling of their arm wrapped around him, the way his eyes had begun to droop.
On the edge of sleep, Erandur managed to mumble, âGoodnight, Dragonborn.
After a few moments, the Dragonbornâs voice rumbled softly as they spoke, âGoodnight, Erandur.â

âHello, hello! Your valiant hero returns~â the Dragonborn called in a too loud, sing-songy voice, as they burst into Elgrimâs Elixirs.
Elgrim immediately shot them with a withering glare. âDo you mind?â he muttered gruffly. âIâm trying to run a business here.â
âNot at all!â the Dragonborn responded to the rhetorical question. âBesides, Iâm here to see Ingun. Is she around?â
A faint shout came from the back part of the shop. âIâm back here!â
Elgrim muttered something under his breath, before waving his hand. âSheâs in the back, cataloging all the ingredients sheâs wasted on her âexperimentingâ.â He rolled his eyes. âYou can go back and see her, just donât take too long.â He paused, before narrowing his eyes and pointing a finger at the Dragonborn. âAnd donât get up to any funny business, either.â
The Dragonborn blinked. âFunny business?â
Elgrim suddenly found the shelves behind himself very interesting. âYou heard what I said.â
The Dragonborn hesitated a moment longer, before shrugging. They headed behind the curtain that separated the front part of the shop from the back living quarters and storage area. It was a bit darker back here, only a few candles were lit - it took the Dragonborn a moment to locate Ingun, hunched over a case of ingredients. When they approached her, she stood, giving them a pleased smile.
âOh good, itâs nice to see you back in town,â Ingun said politely, though her eyes were trained on the Dragonbornâs alchemy satchel at their hip.
The Dragonborn chuckled. âBefore you even ask, yes, I have your ingredients.â
Ingunâs eyes suddenly met the Dragonbornâs, wide with shock. âYou meanâŚall my ingredients?â
âYep,â the Dragonborn said, going over to clear a table. They then upended their alchemy satchel, pouring out a mixture of dainty purple flowers, chiming blue-green weeds, and blue flower clusters. Once they were done, they threw their arms out in a presenting manner. âSome pretty flowers for a pretty lady~â
Ingun simply stood there, speechless. There were so many flowers they were spilling onto the floor. She looked between the pile of ingredients and the Dragonborn several times, before she abruptly took a few steps forward.
âIngunâŚ?â
Ingun flung her arms around the Dragonborn, hugging them close to her in spite of the fact they were much larger than her and in a full set of armor. The Dragonborn immediately returned the hug, gently settling their arms around Ingunâs shoulders, even petting her head comfortingly. Though the Dragonborn did not know Ingun too well, they did know
âNo one,â she said suddenly.
âWhat?â the Dragonborn asked, baffled.
âNo one has ever done something for me, soâŚunselfish and kindâŚâ she mumbled, face pressed against the Dragonbornâs chest.
âItâŚitâs nothing, really,â the Dragonborn said softly. âI like gathering ingredients, itâs fun!â
Ingun sighed heavily, pulling back. âItâs not justâŚabout the ingredients. Itâs the principle of the thing.â When the Dragonborn tilted their head curiously, Ingun waved her hand. âYou know what family Iâm apart of. YouâŚknow how they function. Nothing kind is ever given freely with them. Especially nothing having to do with my craft.â
The Dragonborn gazed at her with soft eyes. âYou deserve better,â the Dragonborn said bluntly, yet tenderly.
She gazed back at the Dragonborn. âI think I deserve better too.â
Ingun once again closed the gap between the two of them, only this time she went onto her tiptoes as she kissed the Dragonborn. At first, they did not reactâŚbut then they gently lifted a hand, fingers carding through her soft black hair as their other arm wrapped around her to pull her flush against them.
The kiss lasted for several moments and it likely could have stretched on for several more, were it not for the rustling of the curtains. The Dragonborn pulled back, gazing at Ingun tenderly for a moment, before releasing her and stepping back completely.
âIngun!â Elgrim shouted, as he entered the room. âWhere is that shipment of Namiraâs Rot that I got in last week-â Elgrim cut off suddenly, eyes narrowing, as he looked between the flushed Black-Briar and the equally flushed Dragonborn. âI hope I wasnât interrupting anything~â Elgrim cackled, seeming quite proud of himself.
âNo, nothing,â Ingun responded back quickly, a bit too quickly. The Dragonborn merely shook their head, holding their hands up innocently. Probably for the best they kept their mouth shut - they were an awful liar.
âWellâŚgood,â Elgrim said with a firm nod. âSoâŚthe Namiraâs Rot?â
âR-right!â Ingun went to one of the storage shelves, pulling a crate down, handing it to the old man. He hummed as he looked over the stock, frowning.
âNot very fresh, but I suppose theyâll do.â Elgrim paused, seeming to suddenly notice all the Nightshade, Deathbell, and Nirnroot on the table in the middle of the room. âWhat theâŚ?â
âOh! Thatâs right! The Dragonborn, they found these ingredients for me. Well, technically, for you, since I owed youâŚbut umâŚyeah!â Ingun wrang her hands.
âHmph,â Elgrim acknowledged, looking over the ingredients to see what condition they were in. âThey seemâŚadequate,â Elgrim said gruffly. âGood work,â
The Dragonborn seemed mighty chuffed to have gotten such a remark from the surly old man, grinning. Ingun also seemed pleased.
âWell, if either of you two absolutely need me and have to interrupt my work, Iâll be at my Alchemy lab,â Elgrim said, heading for the curtain once more. He paused though, right before exiting. âAnd Dragonborn. Remember what I said?â
The Dragonborn nodded quickly. âNo funny business!â
âAnd Iâll hold you to that,â Elgrim nodded, finally heading through the curtain, leaving Ingun and the Dragonborn alone once more.
They both stood silently for a moment, before the Dragonborn softly said. âYou have no idea how much I want to kiss you again.â
âSo do it,â Ingun dared, taking a step towards the Dragonborn, but they sadly shook their head.
âYouâre at work. Besides, IâŚdonât want to piss off Elgrim,â the Dragonborn pointed out.
Ingun sighed, but conceded. âYou have a point. HisâŚapproval means a lot to me. Heâs kind of likeâŚthe father I never hadâŚâ she admitted.
The Dragonborn suddenly reached out their hand, capturing Ingunâs in theirs. They brought her hand to their lips, gently kissing it softly. âUntil next time, then.â
Ingun clasped the hand that had been kissed in her other hand. âUntil next timeâŚâ she said, watching the Dragonborn leave.
