Elephant Sands - camping with the giants... On the way to Nata we stopped at Elephant Sands as we heard from many people before, that this place is special...and it definitely is! It's a camping lodge build around an Elephant water hole. Seems like our daily Elephant experience gets closer and more intense every day. We've spend almost a full day and a night at the camp. Those giants spend lots of time at the water hole and sometimes walked really close to our tents. When I came back from the bathroom at night, there was this Elli right in front my tent and wouldn't want to let me pass. I had to wait, walk a bit around him until he decided to move.
