AND how we've stigmatized it so much that so many people never even explore it! Genuinely a very interesting journey of self discovery and introspection I know I would have never done without it and it's so sad that purity culture and the way we as a society treat sex has stigmatized it so much.
Ugh, the terrible, terrible things I could say specifically about the sex-ed in the USA is a damn essay but I digress.
I think part of that also comes from the fact that I had unrestricted internet access from the age of four so people being so squeamish and weird and often undereducated about sex is kinda wild to me.
Like, sexuality is a natural part of the human phyche and just being a species that reproduces sexually! The complexity that comes with it is the same complexity that comes with everything else about having a complex brain and complex emotional functions as a species!
*Biology sidenote- even some species that reproduce asexually seek out sex, such as the New Mexico whiptail Aka the lesbian gecko! They reproduce asexually and are an all female species but they still seek out sex with other members of their species!
