Omfg the public health care system in my country has gone to shit. I’ve already seen a specialist through private for the issues I’m having, but I just got a letter from one of the places I sent a request to for a public specialist and the waiting time on seeing someone is two freaking years.

Cracking my books again to to try and plan this DnD character out. I’ve never multi-classed so I’m anticipating begging for advice. Still, this is going to be fun as hell for a character that will probably be somewhat ineffective in combat but fun as hell to actually roleplay. Props to @wzrdn for making me be less of a scaredycat.
Concept:
An older, nomadic wizard always travelling to perform impressive magical feats and adventures for coin for room and board in the next town. Eccentricity and ingenuity drives this brilliant spellcaster to try new spell components and chants, the effects of which can sometimes be unpredictable.
The reality:
An older multiclassed wizard/rogue and a complete and utter charlatan. He has very little magical talent but grew up desperately wanting to be a wizard so he resorted to the only thing he could to get the accolades and reputation he felt life denied him via his frustratingly weak casting abilities: Trickery. He’s not eccentric in the slightest but presents himself this way so he has plenty of excuses ready when his spells go awry or flat-out do nothing. Ex: I meant to teleport into this cell in the lower dungeons, it was the fastest way to get down here! Kindly free me from it, companion? Living on the run from the occasional job he couldn’t execute due to not having his professed abilities makes him willing to take on almost whatever comes his way and promises coin.

Yeah, I’d been following the manga on a forum and when they announced an OVA for it I lost my shit. Can’t even lie, the thirst has always been real for like 90% of that cast but especially our favorite shark-mouthed basement-dweller. BTW have you seen Team 4 Star’s Hellsing Abridged? Very worth the watch if you haven’t!
