Since I already told about the similarity between the one-eyed-ghoul and kanekis drawing I thought of an possible explanation: If we assume, that sens books are biographies, then maybe kaneki got the design idea from the egg of the black goat (or whatever this book is called), because he was reading it recently and maybe sen described the one eyed ghoul in there. Maybe this idea is too far off, what do you think?
It probably wouldn't be Black Goat's Egg I think, since it was about a mother who was a serial killer and there weren't any monsters involved.
Maybe her other works?
