Ayo @kingjames 🙌🙌🙌 let me give you some background on this work. This piece here is by one of the greatest artists that ever lived to me. His name was #NormMaxwell (@normmaxwellstudio) who sadly left us a few years ago. This #Prince piece is from a series Norm did called “Pop on a Platter” where he did tributes to #popculture but in a #renaissance setting. Actually before he passed he started to do prints of this work again because another celebrity had posted the photo. His family would love to see this again I’m sure. I’m glad it’s in a great home alongside some powerful works in your collection. Man, it blows my mind to think what Norm would say if I showed him this! He would be going crazy! Lol! “Like you see man it’s a matter of time!” Norm is always shining on us.
