Illusive Dawn 1-10
Time was irrelevant to me now. How long since the attack? How long since I had fled. Time was at a standstill it seemed. I treaded on through the black dust, cowl pulled over me and rags on my body. I had no armor, no protection. The land I was searching for was known as the Centrasium. The Dark side of Nexia. I had traveled to Nexia after the release of what was now being called Voidweb, in hopes to find answers to the location of the four paradox players. I knew of the King. I knew of the crusader. But I knew not where they were. I was headed for Layn, the city of Lasers. It's hard to properly describe this location other than calling it a glowing hole in the ground, but I'll try. The entrance is a hole, yes, but dropping down merely puts you a few feet from the top, like an illusion. From there, the entrance to the city is clear-cut. A doorway. Entering the doorway brings you to a large outlined building, sleek in design with a glowing trim. The glowing trim is a data stream, and it keeps the buildings programable. If one wants a skyscraper haircut parlor, one can have it. If one wants a triangular hotdog stand, then it's theirs with a simple code change in The Core. The city was Dekn based, but I was aware there were several Arkn here. I was searching for one in particular though, one that would help me find what I needed, an artifact known as the Illusive Dawn.
