Named after a Mediterranean island off the coast of Spain, Ibiza nightclub on 1st Street NE in the trendy NoMa neighborhood of Washington, DC drew mixed reviews from throngs of night life seekers until forced to shut its doors in 2015. When Washington, DC artist @KellyTowles brought Jasper Wong’s popular Pow! Wow! festival to the city the following year 19 artists, both local and from across the globe, were invited to transform NoMa walls. Among them Douglas Hoekzema, aka Hoxxoh, the popular Miami artist whose work seeks to explore the fabric of time—and whose mesmerizing work has made him a selfie-background superstar—brought new life to the outside of the former nightclub space.  @hoxxoh  @powwowdc
