Sorry if the descriptions get a little messy. Also when I say "heroes" I do mean the Heroes of Yore.

Akume she/they is the Star Rod. The name is a mash up of akumu which means nightmare and yume which means dream. (Also accidently fits with akuma meaning demon and me meaning eye, so her name low key stands for eye demon as well). As her name origin suggests, she can control dreams and therefore nightmares too. At the time of the Heroes of Yore, she was one of, if not the only one, who could dream. If one takes a piece of her little arm like ribbons and places it under their head when they go to sleep, they can have dreams. She wanted everyone to be able to experience dreams so she aided in the construction of the Fountain of Dreams and she personally made the Star Rod her self using some of ribbons. Don't worry about the whole cutting off parts of the ribbon thing, it doesn't hurt and she seemingly has an endless supply. She has a lot of power in her dreams. She can see bits of the future, although it's always open to change and it can be hard to see exactly want she wants. She can visit others in their dreams, even able to cause someone to dream by taking them to her own dream. She can also has some access to things on people's mind when she dreams, even if it's only in the back of someone's mind. She rarely does this, cause she doesn't like invading other's privacy and it's usually just mundane stuff anyways. She once used it on Galacta Knight without his knowledge to try and figure out why he was always so distance to everyone. She found out a bit about his past and how he was basically raised to be a weapon and nothing else (I will flush out his whole backstory later). He does care about them, he just thinks it's wrong for him to feel that way. Akume did feel bad after snooping, but it did end up helping her, and later the other two heroes, get closer to Galacta. Akume later teaches/gives Galacta some dream magic, mainly the ability to evoke a dream onto someone. Akume's body is mostly composed of clouds. Her ribbons are in there somewhere. She usually keeps the ribbons tucked in her body, but pulls them out when needed. She can manipulate her body, and can even make herself into different shapes. she sometimes even make little paw like hands out of her cloud stuff, but she usually just uses her ribbons as hands. Her ribbons are very tough and can extend very far; they are also good weapons. She also has no feeling in the ribbons. She can control water, which is partly why the Fountain of Dreams was a fountain to begin with. She usually prefers to turn water into clouds before using it for anything. She says it's because it's easier to control, but really she just prefers clouds. She can force it rain if the sky is cloudy. She likes move water so the light reflecting off of it produces a rainbow. She is the youngest of the Heroes of Yore, but she's still a full grown adult. She acts a bit childlike, but can get serious when needed. She likes being chill and peaceful since it usually keep other calm too. She later becomes fiercely protective over the other heroes. This protectiveness later shows up when she leaves the fountain and tries to drown/kill Morpho Knight for "killing" Galacta Knight. She wasn't sealed away or anything like that. She just put her physical self in the Star Rod after the other heroes "disappeared". She was in a constant sleep during that time, but she could leave the Star Rod whenever she wanted (except when it was broken in Nightmare in Dream Land). She is a far removed ancestor of noddys

Noke he/him is the Master Crown. He is a powerful mage and was mainly the defense of the Heroes of Yore. His specialty was his shields. He can and will fight too, but he wasn't as strong offense than the other three. Noke can float without his wings, but he keeps them out since it allows him to use magic quicker since his wings are already made up of magic. He and Lueray were dating, they even had pet names for each other and often called each other Nokey and Lulu. Lueray was the first to know that Noke was starting to get corrupted by dark matter. He told her himself. This was before they sealed the Jamba Heart. (It will probably be a piece of the Jamba Heart that corrupts him in the first place). He used the Master Crown to help manage the Dark Matter. He was still completely in control, but it was getting worse. He started to physically change. At first it was minor, his mouth got partly stuck together creating a line between his two lips. He was very self conscience about it which later lead to all the heroes to wear masks, which was Galacta's suggestion. Then dark splotches started to appear on his horns later turning them completely black. At first he would wear crocheted covers over his horns to hide it; they covers where crocheted by Lueray. The darkness spread more and eventually got onto his face. By this point the other heroes knew about the Dark Matter corruption, but no one else knew. It was getting harder and harder for Noke to stay in control. It was a while after they sealed the Jamba Heart that the corruption finally got to be too much for Noke. The heroes unanimously decided to seal Noke in the Master Crown before he fully loses control. They thought it was a better solution then just straight up killing him and it would keep him alive. The truth is though, that deep down they all knew he would probably die in there. Lueray was the one who gave the crown to Landia to protect. Lueray never met back up with the remaining two heroes after that. In the present time where Magolor steals the crown and ends up getting possessed by it, what is possessing him isn't Noke, it was the Dark Matter was sealed with him in the crown. Side note: I think I want to make a happier ending with Noke actually being alive in there, but needs something to repress Dark Matter before he can gain control again. That and also a host, but don't worry, it could even be just a doll and a living person. Also some needs to put the crown back together too.

Lueray she/her is the Lor Starcutter She is like the mom of the group, excluding Noke, since they are dating. Akume would jokingly call Lueray grandma because of this. Noke would often get roped in too, with Akume calling him gramps. Lueray loves to crochet and she crochets tons of stuff for the heroes. She put a lot of love in each piece. Lueray is Halcandran and a very good mechanic. She was even on the team who built the Lor. She knows dimension magic, she was essential to getting the Lor to be able to open up rifts. Her dimension magic was unparalleled, the ancients found this out quickly when she was commissioned by them to help with building their tech. They latter recruited her to be one of the Heroes or Yore. She gladly excepted because the Jamba Heart posed a threat to Halcandra, even if only years down the line. She's very happy and carefree and often was the responsible one of the heroes. She usually was the one to make the plans and she was great at utilizing everyone's power. She fell in love with Noke first, although when Noke fell in love with her, he did a terrible job at hiding it. Lueray was the one who confessed. By this point all the heroes were pretty chummy with each other so Lueray and Noke made sure to tell them right away. They were very happy for them. Although it just made it harder for her when it came to Noke's Dark Matter corruption. After Noke was sealed in the crown and she gave it to Landia to protect, she couldn't bring her self to go back to the other heroes. The Lor was near by so she stayed there for a bit. She ended up putting her conscious in it (via details I will work out later). This also why the ship is know to be able to speak, she's still alive in it. When the Lor stopped being used she basically went into a deep sleep, but eons later when Magolor found and repair the it, she woke up. She knew about Magolor's plan but she didn't stop him because she wanted to know if Noke was really still alive in the Master Crown. After Magolor got possessed and all that, she assumed Noke must be dead. She now talks to Magolor via the Lor, but hasn't told him that she was one of the Heroes of Yore. In fact, she hasn't even told him that she used to be alive. She see Magolor kinda like her son partly because he is the last of their species. He is also the only living connection to her past that she knows of.
