Hey guys! Wow, it’s been awhile! I hope you’ve all had an awesome time off for the holidays! 

School’s starting back up next week, which means...you’re probably gonna need community service hours! Did you know you can fulfill those requirements at the Library? To get started, just attend one of our Teen Volunteer Orientations and I’ll explain how our Library’s Teen Volunteer program works! Stick around afterwards to join our Teen Council! The Teen Council gets to help me, the YA Librarian, choose what books, music CDs, and graphic novels/manga we’ll carry at this Library, plus plan programs, displays, and run this Tumblr blog! And ALL OF THIS counts towards community service hours!

Interested? Then I’ll see you next Tuesday, January 10th, for our first Teen Volunteer Orientation and Teen Council meetings of 2017!!

Hey, awesome North Hollywood Library Teens! So, our building has had a bit of a mishap and we’re going to be closed for awhile. That means all of our Teen programs planned for September, including the first meeting of the Teen Council and our “Pokemon: The First Movie” screening/Pokemon GO! event, are probably canceled.

I’ll do my best to keep you all posted about when we’ll be re-opening! Until then...
