I didn’t always believe in “New Years Resolutions” or “Fresh Starts.” I thought they were silly and pointless. 😲⁣

Something has shifted over the last few years and I’ve started embracing the natural “fresh starts’’ we’ve been given. Turns out, waddaya know- there’s something to it!⁣

I DON’T make the goals unrealistic. I start small and VERY do-able, knowing that over time those small changes will add up and I’ll be MUCH more likely to stick with it than trying to implement a drastic change!⁣

This more open mindset has helped me take bigger advantage of new workout programs, and created a HUGE boost overtime in my fitness goals. (I was only holding myself back!)⁣

You also DON’T have to wait for a new year either. Every new week, day, or HOUR is a new opportunity to start new and be better than you were before.⁣

Family, Friends, Co-Workers, and everyone under the sun would always talk about what they were doing - all jazzed and excited - and by April at the LATEST, it had mostly fizzled out and I wouldn’t hear about it anymore. I didn’t want to feel like I was in the hamster wheel everyone else was in, lying to myself and pretending I would actually stick with something and truly “change” THAT habit! #Confession Something has shifted over the last few years and I’ve started embracing the natural “fresh starts'' we've been given.
