The  future  always  depends  on  what  people  do  today  ...  it  is  why  ,  it  is  always  changing  .  Never  linear  .  Alice  was  waiting  for  the  past  month  .  it  was  taking  them  so  long  but  alice  was  a  patient  woman  .  After  all  ,  she  only  waited  for  JASPER  for  28  YEARS  ... & It  was  worth  the  wait  .  ❝  ⸻  feel  free  to  sit  .  I've  just  been  here  a  while  .  ❞  alice  chirped  up  as  she  drank  her  ICE TEA , knowing  that  was  quite  the  understatement  considering  she  had  specifically  and  personally  reserve  that  table  for  the  past   month .

he should have scoped the place out before he committed to a lease. if he had, leo certainly would not have come here. despite the place teeming with vampires and something else non-human that he can't quite place, something else is keeping him here besides breaking a silly human formality. is it the nostalgia of a rainy climate? or morbid curiosity that could be easily conflated to a death wish? it's something that he's not really willing to explore, so he's been filling up his nights as best he can in the small town. tonight that includes over an hour at the pool table at tip and sip. when he catches someone's eye, he can't help but strike up conversation. he'll attribute that to decades of loneliness. ❝ sorry, i suppose i have been hogging it. do you play? ❞ his accent has faded with the decades in america, though a tinge of it still shines through to an ear that knows what to listen for.

"i   swear,   if   i   see   another   awful   sports   romance   book,   i’m   going   to   lose   my   mind,"   ceren   grumbled,   fingers   skimming   over   the   spines   lined   across   the   shelves.   her   lips   pressed   into   a   thin   line.   there   was   nothing   like   the   weight   of   a   real   book   in   her   hands—kindles   just   didn’t   count   as   real   reading   in   her   head.   "any   recommendations?"

“i'm  off  duty,”  he  muttered,  his  eyes  transfixed  on  the  football  game  playing  in  the  bar.  he  was  never  a  fan  of  people  walking  up  to  him,  trying  to  talk  about  what  was  going  on  in  forks  or  the  surrounding  areas  when  he  was  off  duty.  it  always  opened  a  can  of  worms,  giving  people  an  excuse  to  pry  further  into  his  own  business.  “now,  if  you're  here  to  talk  about  how  shit  the  mariners  played  last  night,  then  pull  up  a  seat.”

Athena  looked  at  herself  in  the  mirror  as  she  tried  on  a  more  MODERN  dress  .  She  is  an  EXQUISITE  BEAUTY  .  something  she  knows  all  too  well .  Still  ,  the  vampire  furrowed  her  eyebrows  at  the  dress  she  had  on  .  UNSURE  how  to  feel  about  it  .  it  hugged  her  body  and  quite  revealing .  (X)

Time  certainly  has  progressed  and  if  they  were  staying  in  this  TOWN  ,  best  they  blend  in  .  ❝  Well  ,  I  suppose  this  will  have  to  do  .  ❞  She  muttered  to  herself  as  she  now  had  to  decide  which  shoes  that  matched  dress  .
