On the saga of home appliances, we are mere screws away from finally having a working dishwasher again, and I can finally have one fewer thing to be stressed about. I got more progress on my most recent chapter, and was reminded I make them too long.

The idea is in the post mortum-energy world, a lot of damage is done by the by-products of the clean energy process. Some of that is necrotic acid, and there are industrial processes that work to use and reduce that. Part of Hunter's backstory has to do with how he worked for start-up that was trying to crack that nut, and how that went bad for him and his arm bones.
