Number 4: REAPER in my Claraween Challenge. His/their name is Ramone, for no reason.
Did two colour versions, and stuffed up both, but fixed a bit in post. Don't layer your paper on top of each other!

Number 2: MERMAID for my Claraween challenge. Her name, as inspired by my friend Kris, is Tina Tuna.
Got to go buy a red marker for hair. I drew it too small, ink wouldn’t stay in the lines. Happy with the scheme over all, especially the tail!
Number 3: FRANKENSTEIN for my Claraween challenge. His name is Boris, for reasons. I like this guy, I’d hang with him, maybe discuss poetry or something.
Reference I used was a photo of Karloff drinking tea on set. Which is so cute, and you should look that up. Working within the brown/grey palette was very fun!
MONSTER: The first prompt for my Claraween challenge. Her name is Kylie.
Look at that face. Is that not 2020 mood... Favourite parts were the horns, they use the same fluid motion that are in my tattoos, and colouring jagged shadow on the fur lining. The scheme is an obvious reverse-Sulley reference. Second marker use ever, they didn’t like the printer paper and ink, and I had to go out to buy purple since my off-brand pack didn’t have, and picked up the wrong green for the hand. Oh well! Cans are a self-reference to 6 and 17 of my last challenge.
Like the pic says, I did some of these in October... and didn’t post them. And that’s okay! Its especially busy ATM, and I’m staggering posting slowly.
My challenge is to draw characters with a focus on the aesthetic from the prompt, and not the direct prompt. I tried to limit references to 2, and only looked up clothes and poses, and not creatures. After my Doodlewash challenge for September focused on objects, and from OC design, I realised I spend Too Much Time on Design to fit personalities, and it puts me off drawing people. So this for that. Enjoy!

5. VAMPIRE in my Claraween Challenge. Her name is Vamp, and no she doesn’t take criticism.
I normally struggle with any kind of curly hair, but I like this light one. So mood. Now I want a drink... but maybe not Vin du Coeur.
